Buttercup Buildup

I’m pretty aware that I’ve been steadily gaining weight, regardless of the fact that I’m more physically active than I’ve been in years. My clothes still fit, but just not quite as comfortably as they used to. I’m still pretty comfortable in my body and don’t feel like I don’t want people looking at me or that I look disgusting in certain clothes. 

I’m feeling/ I am fatter and I’m trying not to let this get me down. I think I over came a pretty big hurdle tonight. I found out I get to go to the spa in Moose Jaw next month (I’ve lived in this province for almost all of my 31 years and have never been!) and am going to go swimming. So naturally, I decided to spend most of tonight trying on my bathing suits. I put on this Firefly vintage-looking one and I didn’t just think, I guess I look okay…

I thought “I look fucking hot! I need it to be summer right now so I can prance around in public in this bathing suit every damn day!”

Point one for me.
