Buttercup Buildup

So I just got in from the fabric store where I bought fabric to make a slip and a body smoother/foundation garment thing. BECAUSE I CAN’T BUY THOSE THINGS IN THIS DISEASE OF A CITY. 

The dress I’m wearing for my Burlesque number doesn’t have a very sturdy lining, so I need something underneath just to lay a foundation so you can’t see my underwear, etc. All I could find for a strapless slip-like garment was Spanx and I’m not even lying, the XL fit around one of my thighs, so there was no way in hell it was going to fit around my entire ass. I know it supposed to be tight, but that was ridiculous. I don’t want that much support anyway.

I bought some white charmeuse for a really basic slip and then also a metre of really strong Nylon/Spandex used to workout wear and bathing suits. I haven’t decided which route I want to go yet, so I just bought both because they were on sale. 

Oh, and I STILL haven’t been able to find a strapless bra in my size in this hole, so watch, I’ll probably be fucking making one of those yet (I won’t really, just JFC, this city is frustrating). 

Now I have to go get ready to participate in something incredibly heteronormative this afternoon.
